Intersections-XYZ was born out of conversations with people of different generations, Boomers and Gen X and Y about what appears to be a growing sentiment and perception of division, decadence, and lack of respect among and between generations, with an intensity and focus aimed at Gen-Z.  My journey of conversations and discussion affirmed that there are real and perceived barriers to generational harmony and/or collaboration that launched my quest to find a root cause to explain the growing animus or at least the perception of it. 

A deep review of generational conflict factors, relational and relationship failures, and societal expectations up to and including ideologies that govern conduct and behavior elevated ‘relations and relatability’ as dynamic attributes of Hominal interactions chiefly responsible for generational and relational failures.  Whiteboarding the what-why-how of my conversations and discussions to better understand connections, relations, and functions revealed a framework hiding in the background, the I.P.C.E. Relational Framework was sitting there just waiting to be uncovered.  Through the lens of I.P.C.E. the root cause of the conflicts and/or animus between generations became clear.

This new Relational Framework seemed to make it all make sense and with it came an insatiable need to define it into an easy-to-understand concept, along with a formula to measure and interpret all broken down into its component parts for easier information consumption and comprehension.  Defining, describing, and developing I.P.C.E. while contemplating the applications of use of this groundbreaking and innovative new framework consumed every waking hour where days turned into weeks and weeks into months resulting in the makings of a book as the perfect medium to share the good news.
